CTE: Fall Shadow Day

The Utica City School District’s Fall Shadow Days provided students with authentic workplace experiences through multi-hour visits to local businesses. Organized according to career cluster, these experiences will take place several times each month, allowing students to observe professionals, explore day-to-day job responsibilities and connect classroom learning to real-world career opportunities. Through partnerships with local employers, students gain valuable insight into potential career pathways while building a foundation for future college and career success.

The October 6th Shadow Day focused on careers in business, accounting, finance, law, and government. Participating business partners included Murad & Murad, Ward Arcuri Law, FIrm, and Oneida County Emergency Services.
