The Proctor High School NJROTC program was incredibly honored to present the National Colors during Friday night’s opening ceremonies at the Utica-Rome Speedway.
The presentation was executed by Proctor’s Joint Service Color Guard, a specialized unit that requires rigorous training and synchronization. Facing a public audience the cadets performed their duties with exceptional poise and precision, embodying the core values of citizenship and leadership that define the NJROTC program.
In addition to fulfilling a ceremonial duty, the event served as a powerful experiential learning opportunity. Cadets were able to practice precision under pressure and teamwork all while enjoying the vibrant community atmosphere of the speedway.
The Proctor High School NJROTC command and cadets extend their immense gratitude to the management and staff of the Utica-Rome Speedway for this invitation. #UticaUnited
